Created in 1998, on ESTER Technopole’s site, the activity of CERLASE is initially based on a new patented technology (Process and device for marking objects sintered mineral powders on ceramic, glass and metal EP1040017,B1 - WO9929519).
Since then, CERLASE has seen a strong growth (652 % of the turn over; Deloitte award on 2004) supported by the development of standard and bespoke machines, integrating lasers and strong activity of R&D in association with the ENSCI, the European Centre of Ceramics and several big national and international industrial groups.
With more than thirty years of experience, ELMECERAM knew how to stand out as a reliable and innovative company on the world market of machines for the ceramic & glass industry. In recent years, ELMECERAM increased its range of machines becoming the owner of the trade marks, MALKIN (UK) and CERICO (UK).
The creation of CERINNOV, born after the purchase of the company ELMECERAM, in August, 2008, compliments the development strategy of CERLASE, increasing its production capacity, widening its product range, strengthening its R&D capacities and its sales representation worldwide.
